During busy periods, we receive many orders and our factory operates at full capacity, but the spring and summer months are generally a slow season when factory operations are calmer.
Protecting Employment and Skills
UTO strives to employ its staff as permanent employees, in principle, excluding those who prefer otherwise.
This is because we believe that a "stable environment and a system where people can work with peace of mind" are necessary to maintain high quality, such as "acquiring advanced skills" and "deep knowledge of handling cashmere."

UTO's "Ethical Price" is a special initiative to protect the "employment" and "skills" of artisans at the Iwate factory and continue to create the best pieces.
By placing your order outside of the busy season, artisans can take their time to focus on "a piece just for you."
