Commitment to "Materials"
We only use world-class materials.
Compromising on materials will not produce
delightful cashmere knitwear.

Only professional-grade "Grade 1 cashmere raw material" is used for knitting.
Cashmere fiber, which delights both skin and soul, is made from the undercoat of "cashmere goats" that survive the harsh four seasons of the Asian continent, where temperatures fluctuate wildly from below -30 degrees Celsius in winter to over 30 degrees Celsius in summer.
The main raw material used by UTO is the delicate, soft, and rare cashmere undercoat from "Inner Mongolia," China, which is said to be globally superior in both quality and management.
Among the nine grades of cashmere, UTO's craftsmen handcraft cashmere knitwear exclusively from top-grade, Grade 1 cashmere raw material.

Reliability of Toyoboshi Industry's cashmere yarn, a member of CCMI.
To ensure the reliability of cashmere and camel hair products, we use cashmere yarn from Toyoboshi Industry, a Japanese spinning company that is a member of CCMI, an organization comprising leading global cashmere spinning companies, and serves as an executive member.
UTO's cashmere knits are made from cashmere yarn by Toyoboshi Industry, which first produced cashmere yarn in Japan in 1930 and has since maintained a commitment to world-class quality for over 80 years.
Knits loved by customers are born from carefully selected materials.

"PIARA 26-count" Cashmere Yarn, Beloved by Cashmere Enthusiasts
Cashmere knits you'll want to wear for a lifetime are crafted from materials that make you want to wear them for a long time.
The cashmere yarn used by UTO is Toyobo's "PIARA 26-count."
It is said to have the most classic appearance among cashmere woolen yarns, and has been a long-time favorite among cashmere enthusiasts.
It is an impeccable material that offers excellent linear and well-balanced knitting, beautiful, even stitches, a smooth texture, and durability that stands up to years of use.

Traceability for Peace of Mind
We want our customers to choose UTO products with confidence by clarifying "when, where, and by whom" they were made.
To achieve this, UTO visits the Inner Mongolia region, the origin of the raw wool, and tours the families raising cashmere goats to verify traceability.
We believe that the process of obtaining certification is essential for our customers and for protecting our brand.
