While UTO knit products typically use one strand of yarn made by twisting two thin threads, the Slanting Series is knitted with individual thin threads (single yarn) before twisting.

Because the yarn is thinner, the finished product is lighter than traditional cashmere yarn, achieving a comfortable feel for spring and summer.

"Diagonal knitted edges" as an accent

The "diagonal knitted edge" was made possible by using single yarn.

The "tendency of twisted yarn to return to its original state" transfers to the knitted fabric, creating a phenomenon called "skewing" where the fabric leans diagonally.

This series intentionally incorporates this characteristic, which is often avoided in general knitting, as a design point.
